I am very pleased to have been giving local artists space and appreciation for their art with my project ”Art is Medicine” since November 2022.
I believe that art has a healing effect on us all and is given too little importance in medicine.
In my view, the pandemic in particular has made our society even more sick in many respects than ever before – this includes the disappearance of artists and artists from the public sphere.
The next exhibiting artist is Shayan Afshari Azad, an international artist from Iran who has been living and working in Bonn for 4 years.
He received the Karin Halft Art Prize in 2021 and was selected as an emerging artist by the Kunstmuseum Bonn to exhibit there as part of the ”Zwischenspiel”.
His exhibition includes works from his airbrush painting and digital art collection.
